About the Event

Please join us for an evening of amazing food and wine pairings on our deck overlooking the beautiful vistas of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Your chef for the night will be Chef David Dunlap, an Alain Ducasse & Inn at Little Washington alum and previously the executive chef of Quirk Hotels.  For those of you who are unfamiliar with Chef David, his most recent accolade is his recognition by FSR magazine as one of the Top 32 Rising Star Chefs in the U.S. 

5 Course Menu & Wine Pairing 

Course 1: Strawberry Salad, Manakintowne Greens, Toasted Almonds, Goat Cheese, Preserved Meyer Lemon  

Paired with: Cremant Du Jara Rose, Domaine Rolet 

Course 2: Yellow Corn Custard, Blue Crab English Cucumber, Green Tomatoes, Smoked Ricotta, Jalapeno Oil  

Paired with: 2018 DeMorgenzon Chardonnay, South Africa  

Course 3: Ginger infused Cavatelli Pasta, Duck Confit, Pickled Rose Petal, Aged Parmesan, Cured Egg Yolk  

Paired with: 2018 Kellerei Nals Margreid Angra Pinot Noir, Trentino-Alto Adige, Italy   

Course 4: Marinated Beef Rib Strudel, Roasted Garlic Potato Puree, Tarragon-Walnut Chimichurri  

Paired with: 2017 Catena Malbec, Mendoza Argentina  

Course 5: French Almond Cake, Whipped Crème Fraiche, Sour Apple- Mint Glaze  

Paired with: 2017 Selbach-Oster Riesling, Mosel, Germany
